I'm guessing there's $25-30 million for the "main" road to serve the Northshore development. Overall, the city has roughly $100 million in road improvements that need to be made!
And how will they pay for those new roads, without raising our taxes?
Oh, that's right. Our city council doesn't believe the money they spend comes from the taxpayers. 😥
5 North Shore roundabouts plus a bunch of new roads in this PBS/DKS memo from 2016.

Todd -- you're right about the report being "a little dated".
I ran an inflation calculator and $2 million in 2012 would be $2.25 million in 2020. Even if it were $3 million, we'd be dollars ahead compared to the nearly $8 million the city is spending today.
Nice find John. There's a number of disparities in this report that's not adding up to proposed projections by the City. I know the report is a little dated, but not that dated - where costs have gone up 3 to 8 times. If my memory serves me right, I think the City was going to charge close to $2M to install a light at Lake/Sierra stuck in the Pool Bond? Based on this report the projected costs would be $250K.
Can someone also provide the cost breakout of SUB TASK 13.5? I’d really like to know what I’m paying for that one.
Does anyone know why DKS is no longer in the conversation? Did they have trouble with the "Camas Math" of a routine 4x-8x multiple on actual project costs described in that article from a while back? Current consultant seems to understand just fine. $2m total cost for 6th/Norwood to $8m total cost for Lake/Everett for roughly the same size project outside of landscaping.
Current driver for Lake/Everett roundabout is PBS Environmental who also hires out WSP as a sub-consultant I believe?
