Hello Mr. Mayor,

WATCH Camas believes you have the potential to do great things on behalf of this city, especially considering our "strong-mayor" style of government. WATCH Camas looks forward to you fully embracing the power that you hold after this town voted historically to put you in city hall. If you need anything to help you deliver on the promises you made to Camas during your campaign, the volunteers at WATCH Camas are here to help you deliver. Those promises were (as published in Ernie Geigenmiller's Lacamas Blog):

Bring transparency to city government.
Be fiscally responsible for taxpayer’s money — “I think when we ask for money we just have the base level of the project be more clear. They should have their details more pronounced.”
He wants to be a voice for the people.

As a tool to help you get the clearest ongoing conversation going with the people of Camas, We're extending an open invitation for a "Mayor's Forum" that you will be able to post in exclusively to communicate with Camas. More than just a repository for press releases, we hope you'll fully embrace the power of this venue as a place to have an open, reasonable dialogue with your neighbors and constituents. Fireside chats, Q & A, whatever you need.

WATCH Camas Forum Rules

1. No Spam / Advertising / Self-promotion in the forums

7. No logical fallacies please

A logical fallacy is a flaw in reasoning. Logical fallacies are like tricks or illusions of thought, and they're often very sneakily used by dishonest folks to fool people and make them feel crazy. 8. Please use your real name for your account.

We are real life neighbors in a real life town. This is the internet, but it's not THAT internet. We ask that you use your real name here (first and last). We feel that real names help improve the discourse and keeps posters accountable. If you have trouble changing that, please contact us for guidance.

You will never be banned without discussion. If you violate the rules stated above you will be warned if appropriate or immediately banned and contacted for a discussion. If we can clarify a misunderstanding, you will be reinstated.
